Bleeding

If your child has a cut that is bleeding:

• Wash the cut with soap and water
• Apply triple antibiotic ointment
• Apply pressure for 15 minutes to stop bleeding
• Cover with a bandage

Call or make an appointment online if:

• The edges of a cut do no meet or the cut is gaping open
• You cannot control the bleeding after 15 minutes
