Strep Throat

Symptoms of Strep throat include:

- Children with strep throat do not typically have runny nose or congestion
When your child is seen in the office, a throat swab may be needed to ensure the correct diagnosis.
Antibiotics are prescribed to treat strep throat. It is very important that the prescription be taken as directed for the full 10 days in order to prevent relapse and complications.
