Urinary tract infections

A urinary tract infection is an infection of the bladder or kidneys and needs to be treated with antibiotics.

Symptoms may include any of the following:

  • Burning or pain with urination
  • Going more frequently
  • Feeling a need to urinate, but not producing much urine
  • Abdominal or back pain
  • Fever
  • Vomiting
  • Having wetting accidents
  • Blood in the urine

Call or make an appointment online if you are concerned that your child has a urinary tract infection.

Antibiotics will not be called in to the pharmacy.  Your child needs to be examined for appropriated diagnosis and treatment.
