C. David Jackson, MD
" I am privileged to spend time with kids. They are so unpretentious, so easy to like and so worthwhile of my time. There's nothing more rewarding than having a 4 year old look into your eyes and say, 'thank you'."

Dr. David Jackson has been a pediatrician with NWA Pediatric Clinic since 1986. He has a B.S. degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and received his medical school training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Jackson did his pediatric residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and served as chief resident from 1985 - 1986. His professional interests have included caring for international adoptees and special needs children.
He loves summer camp and volunteers as a physician at a camp for special needs kids, Camp Barnabas, every summer. Short term medical missions have also been a focus of his life and he makes a working trip to Mexico or Central America most years.

David and his wife, Laura, have been married for 30 years and are very proud of their 3 adult children--Aaron, Ben, and Claire. Their oldest son is married to Dana and all the kids, nature enthusiasts every one, make their homes out of state. Aside from making trips to see the kids, his personal interests are reading and hiking. Patients and staff note that conversations with David usually drift toward his children, a good book, or a recent hiking adventure.
